Today most of our food products are adulterated with chemicals and pesticides. Thus, a large section of our society is unhealthy. Gokulam vision is to serve society by providing them adulteration free cow products.
GOKULAM is an initiative taken by two professionals Mr Rajendra Gupta and Mr Parv Agarwal in the year 2019 with a vision to protect, preserve and propagate the importance of our indigenous breeds of cows.
In Vedic traditions, the Cow was revered as Divine Mother, one which bestows health, knowledge, and prosperity.
We at GOKULAM are working on creating an economical sustainable model around indigenous cows by providing quality products to people and making them popular in our society. We have our own farm where we are working on the Samvardhan of Haryanvi breed which is local breed of our region. We are creating cluster of farmers and encouraging them to keep their local Indian breeds by bridging the gap between them and the urban Customers.
Prosperity through Service
An advocate by profession, he has worked in many reputed Indian and American companies as a legal advisor.
Concerned with the malpractices prevalent in the food and dairy products, he thought of an alternative where these food products could be served with transparency and purity.
Thus, he pioneered Gokulam Farm, where he formed a team which is serving society with pure quality of A2 milk and its products.
RAJENDRA GUPTA
PARV AGARWAL
He comes from a traditional Marwari family in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. After completing his M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from BITS PILANI, he worked with many MNC’S in Mumbai and Pune.
Dissatisfied with the heavy adulteration in the food, dairy products and unethical treatment given to mother cows, he thought of starting Gokulam Farm. Here, cows are taken care with love and Society is served with quality cow products
The Founders believe that Cows and Farmers are integrated. In the current situation, majority of the farmers are not capable to economically sustain their cattle, thus recognized the need for proper conservation and care. Thus, Gokulam Farm supports the farmers and locals by giving support for market linkages while strengthening rural infrastructure and conserving natural resources to generate sustained livelihoods by agriculture and dairy farming.
At Gokulam Farm we are working on creating a sustainable model around our local Indigenous cows and bulls. Currently we are working on Haryanvi breed in our farm and making clusters with farmers who have Gangateri breeds.
Today most of our food products are adulterated with chemicals and pesticides. Thus, a large section of our society is unhealthy. Gokulam vision is to serve society by providing them adulteration free cow products.
Apart from the milk products our vision plan is to provide alternative products in Health sector obtained from their Gaumutra (Cow Urine), Gobar (Cow Dung) like Gau Kand (Cow dung cakes), Cow dung compost and Gau Cast (Cow dung logs) etc.
One of our objectives is to create powerful generation of Indian Breeds (Gau Samvardhan) by creating powerful Nandi’s who will sow the seed for the next generation. Unfortunately, we have not paid attention to Nandi’s resulting in the downfall of our native breeds.
To encourage farmers do farming centered on cows and bulls with zero Chemical and GMO in the soil. Gokulam will be working on providing cow dung compost to nourish the fertility of soil in agricultural land of farmers.
A large percentage of our youth is living the traditional occupation of agriculture and milking cows. However, at Gokulam we are encouraging them to keep their traditional practices alive by providing higher monetary prices of their milk and food products.
Creating biofuel in the form of cow dung logs to be used in the cremations. This cow dung logs will also be an alternative for tree wood logs in the boiler industry, thus stopping deforestation.
